Saturn in Limp Hat

Today we watched a documentary about Cassini, the robot who: recorded rain in interplanetary space; as well as capturing seasonal imagery of the hexagonal storm in Saturn’s pole; before plummeting into the gas giant’s atmosphere.

We watched this documentary in the living room, while I rested on my Mars plushy like a pillow.

I also use my Mars plushy as a chin rest during sleep, so later that night, as I was preparing for bed, I searched the living room darkness for my the pillow-planet’s whereabouts; but as I reached into the mouth of a shadowy chair, I picked up a heavily worn baseball cap instead.

My finger painting is the story of my day.
